FRIENDSWITHYOU HAPPY WORLD (HK)
Uplift the City with Enormous Art Installations
Commissioned by the Hong Kong Tourism Board, we collaborated with international artist duo Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III (FriendsWithYou) to craft the art installations exclusively for Hong Kong (2021).
Together with the artists, we created 12 gigantic inflatables that were displayed for 2 weeks at the West Kowloon Art Park to interact and promote the West Kowloon Neighbourhood. We also transformed the Hong Kong Space Museum with the iconic FriendsWithYou smiley face, which became the first pop-art artwork displayed at the surface of this Hong Kong historic architecture. With that, we aimed to spread joy and harmony in the city.
